As part of our spring recruitment for the Nourish Commons, Nourish is offering free live access to the webinar on Mar 24, 2026 for everyone in our network. Commons Members will have access to the webinar recording.
Webinar Overview:
Across Canada, we’re seeing the same challenges again and again: hospital-based malnutrition, unhealthy eating patterns, food insecurity, and a growing burden of food-related chronic disease. All while we know that food can be a powerful intervention for health and well-being.
This session will explore how to close this value–action gap. Delicious nutrition is one of the five pillars of 100 Million Better Bites, Nourish’s strategic goal by 2030.
Join Jen Reynolds, Nourish Co-ED for a fireside chat with restaurateur Stephen Beckta exploring the recent menu transformation at The Ottawa Hospital and what we can do together—now—through collective learning and action to shift stuck patterns and leverage delicious meals for the health of people and the planet.
In preparation for the webinar, we invite you to watch the Food as medicine: reimagining the hospital mealtime experience (8 minute video) about the food service innovation underway at the Ottawa Hospital, so we can dive deeper into the conversation together.
This webinar is a free preview of the types of conversations members can look forward to in the Nourish Commons which opens in March 2026.
Date: Tuesday March 24, 2026 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm ET
